When you call, we make our best efforts to accurately describe the merchandise so that when you order you will receive your order as you expect. If for any reason your order is not satisfactory please call us and we will try to rectify the situation. We will accept returns for a full purchase price refund or exchange, your choice, within 30 days of purchase, as long as the merchandise is in equally salable condition and in original packaging when returned, as when it was when sold to you.

Saddles may be tried on the horse, and ridden in without stirrups, to see if the saddle fits the horse and rider properly (or ridden with the stirrups covered with an old pair of socks – cut the toes out to put leathers through). If the saddle is damaged, or has stirrup marks or scratches from stirrup leathers, a full refund will not be issued.

All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt, and be in the original packaging. Items that are unused and returned after 30 days may be exchanged, or a store credit issued, at our discretion. Should you have a problem with any item that is defective in materials or workmanship, and this has been discovered after use, we will make every effort, on your behalf, to see that the manufacturer or distributor repairs or replaces the item.

We do not accept returns on horse treats or feed supplements, books, videos or any special order items. If you order custom or special order items, such as custom boots or custom tack or non stocked items, and there is a problem, we will have the item remade if necessary.

Most suppliers are very helpful if there is a problem with custom items and will usually remake them when required, A.S.A.P.You should accompany your return with a note in which you include your name, address and telephone number, along with a brief explanation for your return, so that we can issue a proper credit or exchange the item(s) for you. A copy of the original bill should accompany the return, so that we can expedite the process.

We ship by Canada Post Expedited, unless you specify an alternative. We can ship by EXPRESS POST, PRIORITY POST or UPS OVERNIGHT EXPRESS if you wish, however, we cannot guarantee the arrival time of your order.

These overnight express methods are very dependable; however, these carriers sometimes have problems and the order may not arrive as soon as you had hoped. Orders placed with us before noon usually go out that day. As of now the Post Office sends out parcels at 4:30 P.M. Monday to Friday.

We will make every effort to ship same day on orders placed prior to noon. Please try to give us as much time as you can, so that your order will arrive when you need it.

If we do not have the item in stock, we will contact you to tell you how long we expect the item to be delayed, and to see if you still require the item to be shipped. We will contact you before shipping, on all back order shipments, so that you will be expecting the shipment when it comes.

We are happy to ship your order to your place of work if this is helpful. For rural deliveries Post Office rates are often lower for in-town delivery than rural delivery. If your place of work is in a town or city then often the rate might be lower and the service much faster.

Please advise us of a “ship to” address if this is required.

We charge the UPS or Post Office rate for the weight, size of package and zone, based on the charts supplied to us by these carriers, plus a $3.00 handling fee. This usually works out to be about $13.00 to $19.00 shipping for small parcels anywhere in Canada, regardless of value, and $18. to $25. for most small parcels to the USA. Heavy parcels or large parcels will be a few dollars more. Saddles are usually $30.00 to $50.00 partly due to insurance on the shipment ($1.80 per $100.00).

We do not ship COD. All orders must be paid by Visa, MasterCard, Interac e-Transfer, money order or Certified cheque. Regular cheques must clear our bank before items are shipped. This usually takes about ten working days. Most Banks in Canada offer Email Money Transfer – now called Interac e-Transfer – for you to directly send your payment to our bank (this is the most secure way to send a payment). On large value items, this may reduce our costs and allow us to give you a discount of 3%.

We have had these policies for over 25 years and feel that they are best for all our customers since they are fair to all and help keep your purchasing costs the lowest possible.

Although we make every effort to update our catalogue as soon as prices change from our suppliers, we cannot guarantee the listed prices to be in effect when you place your order.

We reserve the right to change prices without notice. The prices shown in this catalogue are expressed in Canadian dollars.

If the price of the item(s) on your order has changed we will either ship it to you at the original price, or advise you of the change, prior to shipping, so that you can either accept the new price, or cancel the item(s) from your order.

Orders shipped out of Canada to other countries are tax exempt. Tax on the shipping costs still apply. Orders to Provinces in Canada with Harmonized sales tax will be charged the Ontario tax rate of 13%. Ontario orders will be charged HST of 13%. All other provinces will be charged the 5% GST only.
